In 1993 Mario Del'Aguila and his son Luis founded Ecological Garden in southern Guatemala over the pacific coast to breed green iguana with the idea to supply  the market of pet industry with animals bred completly in captivity. Today, fourteen years later, Ecological Garden has expanded to become the leader in reptile breeding, accessories and food production for pets industry in Guatemala.

Our experience gained year by year with effort, hard work and research, took us to develope technics of breeding for reptiles. And the need to have the best nutrion for our animals to get the best breed results, push us to develope our own nutrion formulas for the different stage of the animals. This food is actually being cane and sale.

Ecological Garden has been breeding feeder insects for over 10 years, and breeding reptiles for over fourteen years. We have used our breeding experience to give us the insight to produce quality, cutting-edge products for the beginner and the most advanced reptile enthusiast.

Actually Ecological Garden realized a demand, by his customers, to offer live insects. The project started with the idea to supply in Guatemala with the healthiest and hardiest crickets on the market.

We are in the present the only company seated in Guatemala breeding reptiles, insects as live food for reptiles and producing accessories that makes the live and daily undertaken easier for those reptiles lovers and enthusiasts. We take care of the nature as well, helping in the education of the protection of the Guatemalan fauna.
